• Account data: name, phone number, and login details.
• Identity/driver data (if applicable): driver profile details required to operate on the platform.
• Location data:
  • While in use: to show your position on the map, assign orders, navigate, and provide accurate tracking.
  • In background (if enabled): to support live order tracking during active deliveries and provide accurate delivery updates.
• Order & delivery data: order status, timestamps, pickup/drop-off flow, and related operational logs.
• Device & usage data: device identifiers, app events, crash logs, and diagnostics to improve stability and performance.

2) How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the driver services (receive/accept orders, navigation, and delivery flow).
• Enable real-time tracking for active deliveries (when permitted).
• Improve safety, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
• Send service notifications (order updates, important alerts).
• Customer support and issue resolution.

3) Location Permissions

If you grant location permission, we use it to enable maps, routing, and tracking for active deliveries. You can manage location permissions anytime in your device settings. Disabling location may limit core features.

4) Sharing Your Information

We may share limited information in these cases:

• With customers: your live location during active delivery, first name (or driver display name), and delivery status.
• With stores/vendors: delivery status and operational details needed to complete the order.
• With service providers: hosting, analytics, messaging/notifications, and maps, only to provide services on our behalf.
• For legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

5) Data Retention

We keep your data as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain certain records for operational, legal, and security purposes.

6) Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7) Your Rights

• Access and update your account information.
• Request deletion of your account (subject to legal/operational retention requirements).
• Control location permissions from device settings.

8) Account Deletion

You can request account deletion from within the app (Settings → Delete Account), or contact us using the details below. Deleting your account may remove your profile and related data, while some records may be retained if required for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

9) Children’s Privacy

Shaheen Driver is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page with an updated effective date.
